EUNICE 2010 - Call For Papers
Networked services and applications have developed from being important
research topics within the telecom and computer network communities,
respectively, to becoming one of the core drivers for the whole ICT domain. From
being services extending basic telephony functionality applied by telephony
customers and applications used by computer professionals, networked services
and applications are now used by almost everyone related to almost every
business. The importance of networked services and application as an important
part of society infrastructure is increasing. EUNICE 2010 addresses research
issues of services and applications as considered through disciplines
such as architecture, engineering, security, performance and dependability as
well as considered through service and application frameworks and
platforms.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
- Networked services and applications: Architecture, middleware and enablers.
- Foundations and formalisms. Modeling, validation, measurements and testing.
- Concept frameworks and ontology. Policy based reasoning.
- Engineering, integration, deployment and adaptation. Service life cycle management.
- Publishing, lookup, discovery, matching and selection.
- Service-as-a-software on-demand. Cloud computing.
- Dependability, security and performance. SLA/QoS/QoE. Optimization.
- Security, trust and privacy management.
- Internet of things, connected objects and embedded systems. Sensor networks.
- Adaptability and context awareness. Autonomic systems and self-adaptation.
- Peer-to-peer and overlay networks.
- Protocols in future Internet.
- WEB, SNMP and NETCONF based network management.
- Case studies and lessons learned. Experiments, measurements and simulations.
