NPC 2010 Call for Papers Overview IFIP International Conference on Network and Parallel Computing (NPC 2010) is a leading international forum for researchers and practitioners to present new idea, technology, and experience in the fields of network and parallel computing. NPC 2010 will be held in Zhengzhou, China. You can find complete information through the conference web site (http://grid.hust.edu.cn/npc2010). Paper Submission Papers are solicited on original theory, techniques, and applications of network and parallel computing. A submitted paper must be clearly presented in English, must not exceed 15 pages, including tables and figures, and must be formatted in PDF, PostScript, or MS Word format. It must not be published before or simultaneously submitted for publication elsewhere. Detailed submission instructions will be posted on the conference web site. Papers will be selected based on their originality, timeliness, significance, relevance, and clarity of presentation. Submission of a paper entails a commitment that, if the paper is accepted, at least one of the authors will register and attend the conference to present the work. It is planned that the conference proceedings of NPC 2010 will be published in English by LNCS (approval pending). It is an important national transportation hub and communication center as well as a major city in the Eurasian Continental Bridge, through which the national projects such as west-east gas transfer and south-north water transfer pass. Zhengzhou is designated a national open city, historical and cultural city, and clean city. Near the city are important archaeological sites, including remains from Shang Dynasty (1600 BCE to 1046 BCE) as its capital city.
