This form enables IFIP members to submit requests for events.
Prior to making a request applicants should discuss the application with the appropriate WG/SIG and TC/SG Chairs.
No commitments relating to the event should be made until this form has been completed and approval has been given by IFIP.
THE IFIP EVENT REQUEST PROCESS: Complete the form in as much detail as possible.
If you are unsure of a particular answer, enter a zero and you will be able to continue completing the form and review/edit all of your responses at the end.
Once you have completed the first section of the form a password will appear on the screen.
Keep a note of this as it will enable you to close the form and come back to it later if you do not have all the information.
When you have fully completed and submitted the form emails will automatically be sent to the appropriate IFIP officers requesting approval of your event.
You will also need to print and sign the completed form and post or fax it to the IFIP General Secretary. You should be notified of a decision within approximately two weeks.
If your application is not approved, you will be able to edit and resubmit your application using the password provided.
